We are pleased to announce the availability of the February 2022, Apogee Control 2 software update. This release includes new features for Symphony Desktop and Duet 3, along with bug fixes for both products as well as legacy USB devices (Duet for iPad & Mac, Duet 2 (Mac only), Quartet, One for iPad & Mac, One for Mac). Highlights Symphony Desktop – With the addition of ModEQ 6, ModComp and Opto-3A hardware DSP in this release, all of the Apogee FX hardware DSP enabled plugins are now available on Symphony Desktop – Learn more about the Symphony Desktop update here Duet 3 – Can now be powered via USB-C PD enabling higher headphone output levels and improved DAC dynamic range 50% off Plugins Reminder – You can purchase additional plugins or bundles for 50% off in the Apogee webstore using the coupon code you received in the customer portal when you registered your Symphony Desktop or Duet 3. Login here to access your code Details Symphony Desktop What’s new in Release 1.2 part II Apogee ModEQ 6, ModComp and Opto-3A plugins are now fully supported in the Apogee Channel FX plugin wrapper for Symphony Desktop. Full control of all Apogee Native/Hardware DSP DualPath plugins from the Symphony Desktop’s Touchscreen Control. All Apogee Hardware DSP plugins are now available on all 8* Optical Inputs (*8 when using ADAT, 4 when using SMUX, 2 when using S/PDIF) this includes: Symphony ECS Channel Strip Pultec EQP-1A Pultec MEQ-5 ModEQ-6 ModComp Opto-3A All Hardware DSP versions of Apogee FX plugins are included for free in this upgrade for existing users and with the new purchases of Symphony Desktop.
